Tasman National Park protects diverse forest and fauna and spectacular coastline with windswept cliffs and wild views. Stretching from Cape Surville on the eastern side through to Cape Raoul on the west, the park incorporates several off-shore islands, including Fossil Island, Hippolyte Rocks and Tasman Island.

The Tasman Coastal Trail is one of the five great walks of wilderness Tasmania and follows the coastline from Waterfall Bay, near Eaglehawk Neck to Cape Pillar overlooking remote Tasman Island. The 3-5 day walk climbs peaks, skirts soaring cliffs and rounds tranquil bays.
